Dave Batdorff, Franklin Electric Regional Technical Service Manager
Dave has worked for Franklin Electric for 24 years, beginning in 1998. He started as Franklin Electric's chemist, followed by a product engineer at the corporate facility. Twelve years ago he transitioned to field service. Dave currently covers Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri.
Dave has a B.S. in Chemistry and worked in the aerospace, packaging, and automotive industries before joining Franklin Electric. His background covers analytical chemistry, electrochemical corrosion testing, wastewater treatment through filtration, testing of coatings, inks, adhesives, lubricants, magnet wire, rubber compounding, and motor encapsulation formulation. In Dave's current position, he considers it an honor to help customers troubleshoot site visits, train on skills and product knowledge during events, and support state and national industry associations.
Impressed with the people of Franklin Electric since joining the company 24 years ago, Dave considers it a privilege to be a part of the Franklin family ever since. This is a great industry to work in.
