COURSE SUMMARY
Variable speed systems, or constant pressure systems, can slow down or speed up the pump to match the water demand, providing you control over the pressure of your water supply. This introductory course includes an overview of municipal water systems, similarities and differences between a conventional and variable speed system, basic components of a variable speed system, including variable frequency drives, and how you can provide an optimal experience to your end user. To complete this course, pass a brief quiz. This course takes approximately 16 minutes to complete.
