PRESENTER

Tom Miller, Franklin Electric Eastern Region Sales Manager, US Industrial

Tom started his career in the pump industry in an inside sales and customer service role at a small Industrial and Mining pump distributor in Central Pennsylvania, eventually moving to an outside sales manager role covering a territory in Northeast Pennsylvania. This was before the invention of computer selection and pump sizing software, so Tom selected and sized the old-fashioned way--pencil, paper, and a calculator.

Tom then transitioned to a territory sales position for a new company, calling on end user accounts in pulp and paper, power generation, chemical, and general industry, as well as several OEM accounts. Next, Tom moved back to distribution in sales manager and pump sales manager roles. He continued on to tackle roles for another pump company in business development, district sales management, and later technical sales management responsible for large vertical turbine and fire pump package projects nationally.

Six years ago, Tom made the move to Franklin Electric as a Territory Sales Manager. After two years in this role, he was promoted to his current role as Regional Sales Manager for the East Region Industrial team.

Throughout Tom's career he has worked with many sizing and selection tools from stone and chisel to the new FE Select. Tom is very excited to present this new selection and sizing format to you.
